5. Acceptable Use Policy

Fantasy Sports Disclaimer: Our recommendations are for entertainment purposes only. Fantasy sports involve skill and chance, and past performance does not guarantee future results.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GridSharks, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law.

13. Termination

Your Right to Terminate: You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Our Right to Terminate: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for other legitimate business reasons.

Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease, and we may delete your account data after a reasonable period, subject to legal requirements and our Privacy Policy.

14. Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

• • Free trial cancellations incur no charges
• • Refunds for technical issues preventing Service use
• • Pro-rated refunds for annual subscriptions (discretionary)

Arbitration: Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally and where not prohibited by law will be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitrators' and Mediators' Institute of New Zealand (AMINZ) rules.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any legal proceedings must be brought in the courts of New Zealand, provided that this does not limit any consumer rights you may have under the law of your jurisdiction.

International Users: If you are using our Service from outside New Zealand, you acknowledge that New Zealand law governs these Terms, but this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through email or prominent notice on our Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Translation: These Terms may be translated into other languages. In case of conflict, the English version prevails.
